Trail Info & Maps

There are 314.4 miles of trails now open in the area. All trails are marked with a trail number and are clearly shown on our trail map. Some trails are restricted to ATV and dirt bike use only.

There are plenty of different trails for all types of vehicles and adrenaline levels. There is also beautiful mountain scenery around every corner.

To access the OHV area, each person must have a Land Use Permit regardless of age or activity.

Trail Difficulty

Our trails range from gravel roads to extreme mountainous terrain.

Easy trails include gravel roads and hard-packed clay trails with few if any challenges.

Moderate trails may include mud, rocks and mountainous terrain.

Difficult trails will include off-cambers, tougher hill climbs, rocks, mud and should only be attempted by experienced riders.

Most difficult trails generally include very large rocks, deep ruts and very steep hills and should only be attempted by experienced riders with highly capable vehicles.

Hours of Use

Windrock Park’s trail-system is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. A Land Use Permit is required to access the area. Be sure to purchase your permit before you hit the trails!

Parking Area

The parking area for the Trailhead can accommodate very large groups and has plenty of free parking for vehicles and trailers.

A copy of the trail map can be purchased at our General Store and Campground; or at Shell Fun Food in Oliver Springs, Tennessee.
